Trajectory Foundation National Scholarships

OPEN NOW. We plan to award a minimum of three additional scholarships to students from around the U.S. who plan to attend HBCUs.  These awards will be given in the mid-April time frame and the application period will be from February 1st to March 31st.

Kaleidoscope

Build Hope, Inc., is HACLA’s non profit affiliate which provides scholarships to encourage students to pursue higher education following high school.

In collaboration with the Community Safety Partnership Bureau (CSPB), the program is open to public housing and Section 8 residents who are graduating high school seniors or have a GED/high school equivalency, who are/will be enrolled in a vocational or technical school, community college, or four-year university in the Fall of 2025.

The intern will develop a wide range of skills including communication and instructional skills and gain an understanding of governance and guidelines in the nonprofit arena.

Each year, qualified African-American and Black junior and senior high school students participate in the Essay Contest and Issue Forum. Students are presented with a topic that embodies some of our communities’ most pressing issues and are asked to write an essay to defend their research, analyses, and opinion. Carolinas Chinese Chamber of Commerce Scholarship

The Carolinas Chinese Chamber of Commerce Scholarship will provide underprivileged students in the Carolinas the resources they need in order to excel and achieve their dreams. They will provide students funding for their interest in study-abroad programs to Asia to promote culture exchange, they will provide Asian American students majoring in political science the opportunity to pursue their goal of being a public servant to help with the discrepancy in government representation, and they will provide students interested in international business with their goals to foster a more global and united world.

National Ocean Scholarship Program

This scholarship program is to provide tuition assistance for NOSB students who have an interest in pursuing an ocean or environmental science-related major in the first year of their post-high school education.

Greensboro Community Swim Association Scholarship

Greensboro Community Swim Association Scholarship applicants shall becurrent CSA swimmers who are in their final year of eligibility with CSA, have been on a CSA team for a minimum of 2 years and reside in Guilford County. They must be accepted into an accredited institution of higher education. The scholarship is a single grant, not a recurring annual scholarship. It will be paid directly to the accredited institution of higher education to which the individual has been accepted.

SEAFWA’s Law Enforcement Chief’s Scholarship

Annually, SEAFWA’s Law Enforcement Chief’s Scholarships are awarded to students who advocate for wildlife conservation. There are three scholarships in the amount of $1,000 each available to deserving students. This award is intended for students with a passion for the outdoors and an interest in the management and protection of fish and wildlife resources. The scholarship will assist students who are currently studying wildlife, fisheries or law enforcement. Applicants must have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or greater, and be enrolled in an undergraduate program as a junior or senior with a minimum of 60 college hours in an accredited University.

Salem Glen College Assistance Program

Up to $2,500. The program awards financial assistance with a two-year degreeor career certification program from Forsyth Tech or DDCC. Also, it provides amentor pairing to scholarship recipients to help the student navigate their education and career path. Mentors will be selected volunteers from the Salem Glen neighborhood.
