Environmental Design Camp - Cal Poly Pomona
Is your student passionate about designing better living environments? Are you looking for an opportunity where they can explore Art, Architecture, Landscape Architecture, and Urban and Regional Planning?
We have the perfect opportunity! We're excited to inform you about our upcoming Environmental Design Summer Camp at CalPoly Pomona, brought to you by our STEAM program
Environmental Design Summer Camp Details:
Dates: July 8th-11th, 2024
Cost: Free
Time: 10am-3:30pm daily
Location: Cal-Poly Pomona Campus
Age Group: Open to students in grades 5th-8th. No prior experience is necessary.
What's Included?
Lunch: A nutritious lunch will be provided each day.
Activities: Students will engage in hands-on projects related to Art, Architecture, Landscape Architecture, and Urban and Regional Planning.
Camp Environment: Our camp promotes a collaborative environment where students can expand their creativity and practical skills.
Registration: Ready to secure a spot? Register your student here. (Each student will need their own registration form).
Please Note:
Transportation: Parents are expected to drop off and pick up their students daily.
Safety and Supervision: All activities will be supervised by our qualified STEAM staff to ensure a safe and enriching experience for all attendees.

Cal State Long Beach Rocketry Camp
Is your high school student passionate about Aerospace and Rocketry? Have you been looking for an opportunity for them to bloom in their interests?
Look no further! This summer, NCRF is partnering with Cal State Long Beach's Rocketry Department to host a week-long camp for high school students.
Rocketry Summer Camp Details:
Dates: July 8th-12th from 10am-3:30pm
Registration: Interested in joining? Register your student here. (Each student will need their own registration form).
Where: California State University Long Beach 1250 Bellflower Blvd, Long Beach CA 90840.
Age Group: Open to rising 9th-12th graders.
Who: Hosted at CSULB, run by CSULB Rocketry staff and professors. Chaperoned by NCRF staff.
Please Note:
Transportation: Transportation is not provided to the camp.
Food: Food will be provided to students.
Rocket Launch: Some time after the camp, NCRF and CSULB will collaborate and schedule a field trip to the FAR site at theMojave Desert to launch the rockets that students will have built during the camp.
Lifeline Charter School STEAM Summer Camp
Are your students passionate about STEAM/STEM? Have you been looking for an opportunity for them to explore their interests and further their knowledge?
Look no further! For the past five years NCRF STEAM team has partnered with various schools of all grade levels bringing the most recent STEAM/STEM subject matters to each campus. From Flight Simulators, to extracting DNA from a Strawberry! We are here to IGNITE, EXCITE and Empower the next generation.

CEIS at Cal Poly Pomona
STEAM Exploration Summer Camp Details:
Engage in a two (2) day program that will enlighten you in the world of STEAM/STEM through education. Prepare for your future and let's have fun doing it.
First Day: Engaging in workshops and hands-on activities.
Second Day: A field trip to a local fabulous farm with more activities about our environment and surroundings. Let's make the world a better place!
Dates: July 23rd-24th from 10am-3:30pm
Registration: Interested in joining? REGISTER YOUR STUDENT HERE. (Each student will need their own registration form).
Age group: Rising 7th, 8th, and 9th graders
Where: Cal Poly Pomona 3801 West Temple Ave. Pomona, CA
Who: Hosted at Cal Poly Pomona, run by Cal Poly Pomona staff and professors. Chaperoned by NCRF staff.
Food: Lunch will be provided

Compton Airport Summer Camp
"Experience the Thrill of Aviation"
A three-day experience that will allow your child to explore the world of flight. Here are just a few things we will be discovering......Flight demos, Electric airplanes, Flight simulators, VR experiences, Aviation mechanics, the history of flight and a touch of aerospace!!!!!
Dates: July 29th, 30th & 31st 10am-3pm
Registration: Interested in joining?
REGISTER YOUR STUDENTS HERE. (Each student will need their own registration form).
Age group: Rising 6th, 7th and 8th graders
Where: Tuskegee Aeronautical Museum - Compton Airport 901 W. Alondra Blvd. Compton, CA
Who: Hosted at Tuskegee Aeronautical Museum, run by Chauncey Spencer, II and NCRF Staff with guest presenters.
Food: Lunch will be provided.
